Question for Pokemon FireRed

I have got me a steelix from giving it a metal coat but how can I get another metal coat without using a cheating device as I am told it screws up the game. I need another metal coat as I am told a syther can evolve into a scizor.

Is this true and where can I find another metal coat?

Trade it from the opposite version.

No you can't get another metal coat in the game. This is why you have to choose which pkmn you should use it on, but you might be able to obtaining it from another game by trading it with a pkmn that doesnt Evolve with it.

Yes you can get anouther metal coat I know this because I got two one I got from battle tower but I can't remeber where the other one was.Also I got a second dragon scale and upgrade at the battle tower but I can't remeber the other item.

One way is to Trade it from the opposite version.
Another way is by beating battle tower.
You can also get other one of a kind objects there, such asexp. Share, amulet coin, or an upgrade.

Yes it's true you can find another metal coat by going to the Trainer Tower. But I forget which option you choose. So I recommend leveling up all your Pokemon to about 80, give them strong moves, make sure their defense is super good and defeat all battle rooms.
Battle Rooms:
1) Single- 1 person&1 Pokemon (per battle) on each floor
2) Double- double battles on each floor
3) KO- Strong moves prevail on weak pokemon(make sure you have a wide range of Pokemon types.....fire,water,grass,steel,dark,fighting,flying,electric or Pokemon with double combinations.......like Charizard=fire flying, blaziken= fire fighting)
4) Mixed- mixed room has single double and KO mixed on each floor. Make sure your Pokemon have strong attack & defense because that helps in this room.

You can get other items when you defeat a different battle room...........like an upgrade for porygon(bought @ Game Corner in Celadon). Yowza.......my hands hurt from typing.........hopes this helps and good luck.
