Question for Pokemon FireRed
When I was saving on my game I turned it off when it said 'Don't turn off power' and then I lost my game and had to restart...is this usual?

The short version of where general white is, is instead of the extremely long journey you would have to go through to find him, he's right in front your nose.
Go into the house right behind the statue of the cannon.
In there, you'll find general white napping. To wake him up, you try to talk to him and choose the option to jump on him.
He doesn't wake up for a long time but don't get discouraged. You have to keep choosing the option to jump on him.
He'll wake up eventually.

You can't duplicate pokemon in firered using that way.
There should be a reason why you did that.

Well, duh, they fixed the game so they made it so that not many cheats can be on it.
Most of the times it will erase your game and you'll have to start over but on the other hand, it will sometimes, if you are lucky, say " something something, starting back from last saved spot.
If I were you, I would not use any cheats on this game.

Well you know what I did the same thing once, but I didnt lose my game, it just picked up from the very last save point prior to the one that interrupted.
Maybe yours just couldnt recover. Sorry about your luck.

It hapened to me once but I did it after and it didnt.
I think it depends on how far in to the saving it is ...
I will have to try it again for you
