How can I catch Pokemon in the safari zone easier I can't seem to catch chansy.... Is there a capture glitch?

I believe if you feed / throw mud at a Pokemon in the Safari Zone, it makes it easier to catch. Some Pokemon in the Safari Zone are hard to catch, so it might take so time to catch them.

I always use bait 3 times throw a rock and than throw the ball.and when you throw the ball hold the L. And R. Button along with up on the d-pad a,and b as soon as you throw it.but when it hits the Pokemon let go of the buttons and when the stars are closing back in to the ball hold it again until it's caught.works for me.
