Question for Pokemon FireRed

Hi, I really need your help.

I bought an action replay cheat cartridge and it already had the cheats on there to encounter wild pokemon.

The mastercode is on so I click the encounter code then I choose which pokemon I want to encounter.

The problem is that I don't encounter that pokemon. Ive tried walking in the grass for ages.

Is there something special that I need to do in order to encounter the pokemon?

Someone please help !!

I don't think it works. Not for me anyway.

Shaggy, Ninja Master answered:

Check it out, the pokemon that you should encounter, should be in your PC slot 1 Box 1 at specifically designed levels with specifically designed movesets.

darkboarder_77 answered:

There should not be any special sequence required to make the Pokemon appear. But heed the following on the list I provide:

1. You may have accidentally turned off the code before starting the game.

2. The code could be wrong (which is unlikely).

3. You may have inserted the wrong hex number to encounter that Pokemon.

4. Your Action Replay could be screwed up (I went though $90 before finding one that wouldn't break down).

5. You could have another code on (besides the master code) that is interfering with the code's operations.

6. Before you start your game, you may not have selected to have the codes turned on at the start of the game.
