Question for Pokemon FireRed

Hey my name is Johnny I'm playing Pokemon Fire Red, sorry if this is a wrong place to post a question about Pokemon...

I have a question or I need help to get the Perfect party my idea was :
Nidoking
Venusaur
Golem or steelix?
Kadabra
Arcanine
Vaporeon

But maybe some of this were better ?

Kabutops
Gengar (I really like)
Exeggcute
Dragonite

Please type some moves that would be best...

Is steelix better than golem ?

- But where do I get the "Metal Coat" for Steelix?

- and is it possible to link wireless? Or with cable?

- Is it possible link and trade on the same computer ?

I'm using No$gba

Where do you get growlith on Pokemon leaf green

You can t get growlith on Pokemon leaf green only on fire red, it's just like how you can t get sandscew on fire red,the only way is by trading or cheating with gameshark or action replay
