How can I get a magmar in Pokemon fire red?

Unfortunately, you can't catch Magmar on Pokemon Fire red. You can only get in on Leafgreen, so you need to Trade with someone who has Leaf green.

On island 1 mountain. But unfortunately this info is for LeafGreen. To get it in FireRed, you must Evolve a Magby at level 30 or Trade it from LeafGreen.
