on the main screen when you first turn the game on, ther should be a New Game option. if yiu do that it will start a new game and if you save that one then you get to start all over

But when in game how do you get back to start screen cause I need to get mystery gifts

in the Start menu I think there is a quit button. other than that I think you can get mystery gifts through the trade center. I just remember not being able to get mystery gifts because they may have stopped on that game and moved on to the next.
