Nidoking/Stone evolved pokemon

First off: Do Pokemon that have been evolved with a stone learn new moves naturally, as in by leveling them up?
<BR>
<BR>If "yes" then what level does Nidoking learn earthquake, if at all? If "no" then what would be the best moves to teach my Nidoking?

Yes they do. All Pokemon learn moves naturally, evolved or not (except Ditto and Smeargle). As for making him learn Earthquake, you have to use a TM for that. He'll learn Megahorn, keep that. Also try to teach him one or two elemental punches, like Thunderpunch. Earthquake is nice, and perhaps some other strong attack. He can learn quite a bit if you look at the pokedex on this site. If you don't already have a Pokemon with Surf, you could teach him that too.

It all depends on what level you evolve them at. If you get the required Evolution Stone and evolve them at, say level 10, then chances are they still have moves to learn, and will do so...although at slightly later levels than they would if you hadn't evolve them, which is the case for all pokemon.

I'm sure Nidoking can only learn Earthquake via TM. He doesn't learn it by level.

I'm fond of this moveset:

Earthquake (teach it to him with the TM)
Rock Slide (the Move Tutor that's in Rock Tunnel can teach this)
Megahorn (learned at level 44 I think)
Sludge Bomb (more of a filler move, but at least it's STAB. You need to teach it to him with the TM)

Dont forget after vulpix evolves he can't naturally learn moves anymore

Dont forget that vulpix can't naturally learn after evolving so get him to level 100 and then use a fire stone to evolve him
