I need help I can't get past gary(thats may rival) at the city where you get your 2nd badge. And alsodo you know a way to switch around the fossils that the pokemaniac I choosed the one that turns in to a snail . P.s there was a previous question that said that you can a DS ar code thing on GBA games. Help

Well the only way to basically solve that is to keep training, and next time when you battle him try and play to the weakness's of his Pokemon's type. And I don't think that you can, I believe the only way to turn it around is if you have a gameshark or action replay cheating device.
