No, You can't Trade Pokemon from fire red to the gameboy coulor game Pokemon silver, but you can get Johto Pokemon that you can't catch from Fire red, you would have to trade Pokemon with Pokemon Colussem or Pokemon XD: Gale Of Darkness for the Nintendo Gamecube.

No you can't Trade fire red with silver the game silver is to old for the new games like the dude above me said fire red with leaf green, Ruby and saphire and Emerald can trade.
