You can do it in the Game Boy Advance as well. In You Tube, Search Pokemon Emerald Battle Factory with the results, don't just access the video first. Look at the text next to it and expand it by clicking More. It will then give you a cheat code to put into your Game Boy. Then watch the same video and it will tell you how to do it.

Hahahaha, yes. The team I have on emerald right now are all stolen pokemon. If you go to gamestop, they sell a game shark that has emerald codes on it (spares you the finger-numbing work). Also, the way you can do it, is set it up so that if you press the left upper button (corner of the gba), you can tp to the battle frontier, go to the battle factory, and (I deeply suggest taking Pokemon you don't need/want with you, because there is a high chance you won't see them again...) trade them in for Pokemon of your choice that they are offering. When the man tells you to follow him, press this button right before you go into the doorway, and the Pokemon are as good as yours. You'll wind up inside the welcoming center at the front of the island, with level 50 or 100 Pokemon that you just picked out. Happy battling, and...er...stealing to ya!
