Date of Question: Sep 24 2007 | Question ID: 97158 I'm looking for a Shuckle, but whenever I use rock smash in the desert area of the Safari Zone, no Pokemon come out. Is there something I have to do to get Pokemon to attack?

Have you beat the elite four yet? I'm guessing you have. Just keep doing it, or go deeper into the safari zone. I think shuckle is found on rocks near water, not in the desert. Try that, see how you go.

You have to beat the elite 4 first then go to the safari zone after they build the new area. Then you can cacth shuckle. You may have to smash 20 or so rocks to actually SEE one.

You gotta have National Dex. If you do, then you are just plain unlucky...
