When you beat the Elite Four and go downstairs, your mom will be watching TV and she'll ask you what color the Pokemon was. If you say blue you'll find Latios, and if you say red you'll find Latias.

In this game, you are capable of choosing one or the other, but to get both, you need the Eon Ticket to Southern Island only available via Nintendo Live Events. So you can't get both without trading...

Now don't quote me on this but I believe that you have to go through the trick house a whole bunch of times until the trickmaster finaly says that you are greater than him. He will give you something and ask what color of tent you want, red or blue. I haven't actuly gone out and tried catching latias or latios but I believe that is the beginning to catching one of them, I don't believe that you can have both in this game without cheating. Tell me if it works.

After you beat the elite four you will be transported home you go downstairs and your mom will be in front of the tv and it will say something about a colored Pokemon but the color of the Pokemon was messed up by the tv so your mom will ask you if you heard it say blue and you will get latios say red and you will get latias you can only catch one unless you go to an event to get the other one
