Were can you find a fire or ground Pokemon near the electric gym?
Also were do you get the cut HM?

If you started with Torchic or Mudkip you'd have a fire or ground type, but if you started with Treecko it still shouldn't be a challenge.

1. If you started with Torchic or Mudkip, you're set. Otherwise you might want a Torkoal for in-game purposes only. There aren't many decent Fire types in this game. D:

2. When you first go in rustoburo from ordale town, the house to the far left with the white thing next to it(the white thing is the thing that says where you are or what building you're in front of).

1. There are not much strong fire or grounf types before the gym. Your best bet would be geodude. It learns magnitude which can be useful against electic type Pokemon.
2. In rustburo city there will be a house. In that house a man will give it to you,
