Give the item you want cloned to a Pokemon and clone that. If you don't know how, this is how.
1) Fly to the Battle Fronteir and go into the Battle Tower.
2) Save in front of the PC.
3) Go into "Deposit" and store the Pokemon you want in any box (the box does NOT have to be empty, but it is preferred that the box is empty.)
4) Leave the PC and save again.
5) Withdraw that Pokemon, and go to Link Multi-Battle.
6) The Lady will ask you to choose your two pokemon. So that and when she asks you to save, say yes. You'll notice a small delay before her next message. When she asks to confirm your save, turn your game off. Turn it back on and go to your box. The Pokemon you wanted to clone will be in your party and in your PC.

The only way to clone items is to clone a Pokemon holding the item you want ot clone. The only pokemno games that I know of where you can clone a Pokemon is on Gold, Silver, and Crystal. You cna't clone on Emerald. Sorry.

1st give the item you want to clone to apokemon in your pc, then save. After that take the item back and talk to the lady at the far right(the one who does the link battles)then do what she says until it says would you like to save. Re start the game and you will have an item in your bag, and the item you cloned in the pc. Repeat the proces to keep doubling the item. This cheat depends on how many Pokemon you have in the pc. The more pokmn you have in the pc, the more items you clone.
