Question for Pokemon Emerald

Ok, so I got Dive, and I got to Sootopolis City, but the gym's door was closed, what do you have to do to open the door??


And I found the submerine that Team Aqua stole, but it was deserted, where did they surface??

To get the gyms door opened you have to go to the cave where you saw the submarine that team aqua stole and go back up. You will find a cave. Venture in it. Brind strength and rock smash though.

Just rise back up.

When you find the submerine that team aqua stole underwater resurface there and explore the cave that there in, to explore the cave you will need Pokemon that know the moves(SURF, ROCK SMASH, STRENGH AND DIVE) once you have found team aqua's boss Archie whith Kyogre you battle then Kyogre escapes and you need to use a Esacpe rope(IF GOT ONE) to resurface and you will see that the climate has changed and then steven flys over and tells you to go to SOOTOPOLIS CITY when you get there you will see Groudon and kyogre fighting and the gym leader on SOOTOPOLIS CITY needs your help to find RAYQUAZA who is in sky piller. Once you have stoped the battle between Groudon and kyogre you can fight the gym. HOPE I helped
