Rolan answered:

The fossil determines which Pokemon you get. The Root Fossil will give you Lileep (which evolves into Cradily) and the Claw Fossil gives you Anorith (evolves into Armaldo). Choose the one you like best.

games rock!!! answered:

You can pick only one. In russbro you can turn them into pokemon, The root fossil gives you lileep, a rock-grass pokemon. The claw fossil gives you an anorith, a rock-bug pokemon. To turn the fossil into a Pokemon go to russbro and on the second floor of the deven building there are sienticest one will make it a pokemon. Leave the room and go back in and you have it a lv 5 pokemon.

GanstaGamer answered:

It really dosent matter because you will get the other one later anyway.

shadow333 answered:

The claw fossil is anorith and the root fossil is lileep. It doesn't matter which one you choose because after you have beaten the elite 4, you will be able to get the other one in Fallabour Town.

TwilightPrince answered:

It doesn't matter which one you chose you still get both. They are ancient Pokemon anorith is the claw fossil,Lilyb is the root fossil.

Super Luigi answered:

In the root fossil you get a Lileep and in the claw fossil you get Anorith. When you beat the Elite 4, go to the fosil maniac's house and go to the cave in there. There will be a bunch of Dittos there. When you get to the end of the cave you will get theother fossil you didn't get.

I hope I helped!

Super Luigi out!

gibmyster answered:

Well if you want anorith you get the claw fossil and if you want a lileep you get the root fossil. Also when you choose one the other one sinks into the ground but don't worry, because once you beat the league you will be able to find the opposite fossil in at the fossil maniacs house.

pokebrains answered:

No it doesn't because when you pick one and the tower falls the other one is not lost. After it falls you go to the fossil maniacs house and he has built a tunnel and the other fossil is at the end of the tunnel.
