Question for Pokemon Emerald

Can you only trade from emerald to leafgreen and Fire Red versions after becoming the champ? Or can you trade with other versions? Please let me know.

You may have to be the champ on fire red and leaf green but I am not sure. Try it once if your not the champ on Fire Red or Leaf Green then try it when your champ if it doesn't work.

You can trade and battle and mix recordes with ruby , sapphire, leaf green and fire red before you finish defeating the league and after beating the league.

You can trade with Ruby, Sapphire, Firered (with the ruby and sapphire) and leafegreen (with the ruby and sapphire).

Yes, once you become the champ you can trade with firered and leafgreen, but none of the gameboy colour versions.
