Yea when you run into the sudawoodo towards the end of the game how do you get it to come alive or so that you can catch it?

Well, if you have found it at the southeast corner of the Battle Fronteir, then all you have to do is go into your items pocket and use your Wailmer pail. You must actually go through the bag to do this; it won't happen automatically like on berries. Since Suduwoodoo is a rock type, it does not like the water and will attack. You can only battle it once, so save before you do this. Don't kill it- catch it. Also, after it is gone, you can surf below it down the waterfall to a cave where you'll find Smeargles. This cave only loops around to another point in the fronteir.

You find Sudowoodo at the Battle Frontier near the water. It looks like an extraordinary tree...
To bring it to life, you have to water it with the Wailmer Pail, and it will spring out at you. It's at level 40, and it's a one-catch deal. If you run or faint it, it disappears, and you can't find another Sudowoodo in the game.
