Question for Pokemon Emerald
Yo, everyone!! I need a little advice...
I have defeated the Elite Four, got access to the Battle Frontier, and Latias is on the loose, but I'm anxious to at least find her... Does anyone have any advice on ENCOUNTERING her--not catching, "encountering"! Do I use Max Repels, a White Flute, or do I just wait for her to "magically appear"?

Pretty much, the first appearance is a complete matter of chance. I wouldn't waste a Max Repel, and a White Flute wouldn't help much, either. You'll find her eventually, sometimes when you least expect it.

Use all the Repels you can get, if you want a quick find. Just waltz around Hoenn and she *MAY* appear. I found her on my way to Pacifilog. She mostly goes around the borders of Mauville City, but you can find her anywhere in Hoenn. Most of the time, it's by sheer luck.

Tell us what cheat device do you use.....AR/GS and go to the Emerald Forum and we will give you the code...Or you could just use a lot of max repels and be patient of finding her..

Latias will appear at random,but it appear most in route before the city with the flying gym(i forgot the name).Do this:enter in this route and save the game.Use a repel and enter the grass.If it don't appear,turn off the game and try again(every time you turn off the game,it will appear in another route when you turn on again).I did this three times and latias appeared for me.

Explore every route using Max Repels, and eventually Latias will appear.

There kinda are no tips because latias can appear anywhere in hoenn. So you kinda have to wait for her to magically appear. I suggest that you buy a lot of max repels and run around all over hoenn.

Well FLY to lillycove then go to the grass on the right side and fight 5 random battles and if latios/latias doesnt appear FLY back to lilly cove and do it again until you find him...it took me 1 go

Like they said "It's by luck." Once you encounter her you can track her by pokedex. Which is useless because she moves every time you 1:use a move out of battle (I think) 2:move on to a different area (e.g. Slateport to the bike road). If you know you are in the same area as her. You could use sweet scent(move) she should come MOST of the time

Try cornering it around Mauvile City. That is what I did. Or get lucky.(If you damage it or inflict a status condition, it carries over to the next battles. Also use Mean Look to keep it in battle.)
