Question for Pokemon Emerald
What exactly is pokerus because some of my Pokemon when you do into there stats ner the picture of withch pokeball you used on them it has a purple pkrs near it like on my tyranitar what does it mean and what does it do. any answers giver will be cool.

Multiplies the effort values accumulated by that Pok�mon so that stats increase at a faster rate.

Well, I have to say Pokerus is not beginner friendly. To explain it short, Pokerus allows the Pokemon with it to gain double EVs (effort values), much like the Macho Brace, except without the speed decrease. If you want to know more about EVs, ask in a separate question. Oh yeh, and in Emerald, because it's time based, Pokeruswill disappear in about 3 days real time, so by the time you read this, your pokerus will be probably gone, and that Pokemon cannot catch it again.

Pokerus is a useful disease that some Pokemon catch. If you go to a nurse in a pokecenter she will tell you. It upgrades all the stats of the "victim" by a fair bit, but it doesn't last long if you keep the Pokemon in your party. Lets just say it varies from about 4 hours to 3 days in your party: if you keep putting it in the PC then it will stay there.
