Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hi, can someone please post up a good moveset for my Jolteon. Its moves are pretty crap but I havnt used any tms or hms(besides thunderbolt). Please don't tell me to teach it tms that I might not have. If you do please post up where to get that specific tm. Please don't tell me to use a gs or ar to get it because I havnt got 1 and I don't know where I can get 1 anyway.

Jolteon lv.51(male)
EXP Share/Magnet
Thunderbolt
Thundershock
Double Kick
Thunderwave
Nature: Docile
Ability: Volt absorb(incase you don't know it turn electric moves into hp instead of getting harmed)
Stats: ATK: 89
DEF:84
SP.ATK:121
SP.DEF:119
SPD:152
HP:142
Just incase you're also wondering why I posted his stats, I thought it might help you figure out what moves I should teach him.
Thanks to all the people who help!!

Woo, man, you keep changing your pokemon Smile.
Jolteon is kinda hard to give a good moveset, but I would use:
Thunder Wave/Agility/Toxic
Thunder Bolt
Double Team/Attract
Shadow Ball

You'll agree with me that Jolteon's Physical Attack and Defense stats suck alot. So just concentrate on Special sweeping. Use Thunder wave or Agility to gain maximum speed. Toxic works well if you have spammed Double Team or Attract, and that's a pretty good idea, because like i said, jolteon's defense is pretty bad, so you could try negating some incoming attacks. I prefer double team to attract.
The rest is simple, Thunderbolt is your main weapon, and Shadow Ball the one's that are immune to electric, like grounds and other electrics. Most ground types have low Special defense anyway so you should still be able to do some decent damage. Oh yeh, and use Volt Absorb well. If you're vs a stupid AI, and you predict that they'll use an electric attack on you (which is quite easy) then switch out, and it heals Jolteon, yay...You could probably pull it off on human opponents too, just predict well...

You forgot that in gen 3 shadow ball was physical and as you said Jolteon's physical attack sucks alot
en_ryu answered:

Sorry, I forgot to add this to my first answer, but you get Shadow Ball, which is TM 30, from the top of the inside of Mt. Pyre. If you've already taught it to your Espeon or Umbreon, and it's male (this is important because egg moves come only from the father), then breed it with a ditto or a female eevee and the baby eevee will know Shadow Ball as an egg move. Only way to get Shadow balling Jolteon without the TM, I'm afraid. You can buy Double Team, TM 32, from the Mauville Casino place. It costs 1500 game coins. And finally, Attract, TM 45, can be found in Venandurf (?) contest foyer. The other moves I suggested, you must dig up some Heart scales and go to the move tutor guy so Jolteon can relearn them. But if you're breeding to get Shadow ball, those moves Jolteon will level up and get.

Your jolteon attacks without using tms would be this:

Sand-attack
Double-kick
Quick-attack
Thunder

These attacks above are CRAPY

Your jolteon with tms:

Thunder/thunderbolt
Doubleteam/sand attack
Double kick
Shadow ball/rain dance

Those attacks are fair, I suggest a: zapdos, riachu, manectric.

A good moveset would be:
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Double Team
Protect or Iron Tail

purplemonkey_13_223 answered:

Uh, I'm no Jolteon expert but a good set of moves would probably be;

Thunder: Lilycove department store $5,500
Rain Dance: Abandoned ship
Toxic: Fiery Path
Double Team: Mauville Game Corner 1500 coins: $30,000

Also keep training jolteon to a higher level. Toxic and Double Team is a good combo for any pokemon. Toxic consistintly drains the other pokemons health and using Double Team will make Jolteon nearly unntouchable. And Rain Dance will make Thunder never miss. But if you don't like using TM's, I suggest you train a different pokemon. Keep the Magnet on him because Thunder is a preety good attack.
