Question for Pokemon Emerald
I just have a couple of questions:
1) How can you tell if you have a bad egg?
2)I have an eevee that I traded from LeafGreen, and I have been training it. I gave it good items like calcium and stuff like that, but it won't evolve into umbreon or espion. Can somebody tell me why it won't evolve? I've given it good items, but I can't tell how happy it is.

1. If you have a bad egg I think it says "Bad Egg" instead of "Egg."I now because I've had at least 5 of them.
2. In Verdanturf Town a girl in the house in front of the battle tent has a Pikachu, if Eevee has good friendship she might say, "It wants to be babied," or "It can' t possibly love you any more." If she says something like that it may be close to evolving.

Try trading it back to Leaf Green it may evolve then and give it exp. Share, maybe it'll evolve then or go to Vendnaturf Town and go to the house south west, she'll tell you if Eevee is in your first party of pokemon.

1) If you get a bad egg in your party or PC.
2) Rare Candy are great for it... Give it them, and raise it more levels.

1. The bad egg will not be called EGG, like normal eggs, instead it will be called BAD EGG. Just look at the name. And, if it says it will take a very long time to hatch, then it's a Bad egg, because they never hatch. You can also never get rid of them, because you can't release an egg into the wild, and since it's an egg, you can't release it.
2. It won't evolve, because there isn't night and day, so it won't evolve into either of them. But if I'm wrong, they have to be extremely happy, and grow a level. And the lady in Verdanturf tells you how happy they are. I think she's sitting beside a Pikachu in her house.

If you can but as many calciums and other stat boosting items from the market in slateport. (You can get a lot of money by training Pokemon against the news crew.) Like they said before if the lady in verdenturf says it couldn't love you anymore it is almost there. I belive to get umbreon you had to evlove it between 6:00 PM-AM and espeon is 6:00 AM-PM. (save it before it grows a level just in case.) I know that it takes a long time to get one but it is possible because I have one. You can't evolve it on Leaf or Fire though because it has no time frame.
P.S. If it is really high before it evloves and skipped some moves then take some heart scales to the move tutor in Fallabor town. He will teach you any of your evolved pokemons moves. Not eevees.

There's a girl in verdanturf town in front of the battle tent that tells you how friendy you are to your first Pokemon in your party if she says it cannot love you anymore level it up once and there you go it's evolved
