Altering cave is just any other boring cave where you find pokemon.

If you get a gold trainer card you can find cool and rare Pokemon in altering cave

Well, if you use a certain cheat code, you can find other Pokemon besides Zubat. But without the code, you can only find Zubat.

Like all the other games, you can only catch zubats. But with the E - reader you can catch more.

There is nothing special about it, But if you read articles it used to be the grounds strong Pokemon used to walk on, Now it's nothing.
