Question for Pokemon Emerald

I know all about pokerus... Ok, well not everything. In fact I don�t know allot about it except what others have told me. Anyway, guys, where do you get pokerus (ive heard you can get on either route 102 or 117 and I am really frustrated cause none will tell me where you get it. Some people even say you find it anywhere randomly.)? How do you know your Pokemon have it? How do you really get it (some say you get it from running away from wild Pokemon, I don�t believe that, though. Is it true you get it first from a direct attack?) Thanks guys, I know you will rise to the occasion magnificently!

I'm not really sure where you get the pokerus, but you'll know your Pokemon had or has it when it has a dot by it's pokeball on the summary menu. My nidoking had it ones because I kept battling other Pokemon and I never knew it had it.

Only one Pokemon will get it however if it's around other Pokemon (such as in the party or box eith other pkmn) it will spread...u can tell if the pkmn has it because when you go into summary it will say pkrs in the status area...

You can only obtain it on Rute 102. You fight a Pokemon use tackle or a move that will psycially touch the other pokemon. And if you are lucky it may have pokerus, And you now have a 50/50 chance on having it. Your Pokemon can spread it to others in your Pokemon carrage thing, 6 Pokemon can catch what 1 has.

I can tell you it' not a bad thing, Pokerus is found where you're status of you're Pokemon is, look at your pokemon's summary, if it says pkrs, look at your pokemons attack defence etc. If it's something like 999 it means you're Pokemon is 4 times better than normal, mind you this is on Ruby and Sapphire, if this isn't the case, and you don't want this pokerus on your Pokemon, restart your journey, there is no other way.
