How do you trade with firered and emrald? I tried to but it didn't work.

You must have beaten the elite 4 & have the National Dex on Emerald. On your Fire Red you must have the National Dex. To trade you also might need a wireless adapter. (If that is what came with your firered. If not, use the GBA cord connector)

You need to have the ruby and the sapphire in fire red to trade with emerald.

To trade from firered, in firered when you go to those extra islands you have to finish that machine that that guy is working on.

You need the ruby and sapphire to be attached to celios machine.
