Question for Pokemon Emerald

I just got emerald version last week and my lineup looks like this:
Metagross
Rayqauza
Kyogre
Groudon
Salamence
Shedinja*

However, I don't really want to use shedinja anymore because hes too easy to kill if your battling someone whos smart so I am asking for some suggestions on which Pokemon I should add to my team that I can catch just with emerald version and no stupid cheating devices that is a pretty strong pokemon...

Get a Flygon. But to get one you have to get a trapinch first then it will evolve into a vibrava and finally into a flygon.

Aeon-Flux answered:

To match strength, OK... Try catching a Aron... It later evolves into Aggron which is extremly powerful. You can catch a Aron in the Cave located in Dewford. Moves to teach the Aggron. Thunder, Iron Tail, Earthquake and Dragon Claw. Evolve Steps, 2nd Level evolves on level 36 I believe and 3rd level on level 40.

gibmyster answered:

I seriously recomend getting a Jirachi or if you can't get one of them get a lati (latios or latias) There is also the regi's if you want Smile

nintendo_dude answered:

I would advise you get your starter back. A team without a starter normally doesn't turn out too good. Anyway if you consider using your starter again make sure it has these movesets:
Sceptile:
Leaf Blade
Leech Seed
Sunny Day
Solarbeam

Blaziken:
Bulk Up
Flamethrower
Sky Uppercut
Earthquake/Rock Slide/Aerial Ace

Swampert:
Curse
Earthquake
Surf
Ice Beam

Use those movesets depending on which starter is yours. Anyway, if you wish to use Flygon or Aggron like some of the other people who answered this question suggested then use these movesets for them:
Flygon:
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Crunch

Aggron:
Iron Defence
Iron Tail
Earthquake
Rock Slide

Hope you like whichever you choose.

I suggest adding either an ice or a grass Pokemon 2complete the team
