Listen.. It IS possible to go to the moon because I did.You have to play the game for 100 weeks, then go to the Space Center in Mossdeep. Talk to one of the dudes, and he'll ask if you ant to go to the moon. Keep a masterball handy because you can catch a jirachi. People may say it's bogus, but it's not.

I have and seen torkoal swim and it can shoot ice beams and torchic uses watergun !
