Ok I have ruby and emerald but they wont trade I don't know if my link cable is broke but it just wont even find eachother it just says please wait plus anyone have any tips on catching cool pokemon? where do i get a timer ball?

Im not sure whats up with your link cabe.... Check if it's set to "GBA" mode, thats what happened to me once. You can buy timer balls at Rusturf town pokemart I think, the town that has the devon corporation that is just after the petalburg woods.
