When you start the battle, the shiny Pokemon will have some stars spinning around him, and besides a shiny Pokemon has a different color than the same normal Pokemon, for example: a normal rayquaza is green, and a shiny ray quaza is black.
HOPE I HELPED!
The coloration will be different. If you fail to notice an immediate difference there, watch for sparkles when it comes out to battle. Its number in its profile should also be gold.
First of all, the Pokemon should be a different color. Second of all, after it makes it's "battle cry", there should be stars that appear on the screen, making a little bling sound.
Stars go everywhere a on top of the pokemon and it has a different color.
If the color of the Pokemon is different from it's original.
For example, a Gyarados' normal color is BLUE. If you manage to get a RED one, it is said to be SHINY because of the distinct in color.
