Every time I enter an encounter code my game freezes up when I go to a grassy area. Does any one know what's wrong?

It is simple the action replay or gameshark trademark side effects are kicking in so it will freeze your game

Strategy answered:
I know what's wrong; it doesn't work. Happens with me too. I spent 3 hours getting a 90-line-code in my Action Replay Max and the whole game froze. Maybe we just need a different version of the AR that the codes work on.

Well you could of enter more then one cheat,or it could be a bogus cheat.
