Question for Pokemon Emerald
Ok in sootopolis how do you beat the gym leader, I have tried phsycic, grass, and fire Pokemon and it doesnt work

The best kind of Pokemon to use there would be an electric type as he uses water types. Also for best results your team should be at Level 45 at least.

Try electric. I used my Blaziken with it's Sky uppercut. If you started with Torchic, do it that way. If not, try an Electric type attack on them.

Have a grass Pokemon and electric. His luvdiscs will be easy for the grass Pokemon, for example a tropius with solarbeam. Then for his Milotic use for example, a Manectric with rain dance and thunder. Simple.

Try useing a Pokemon that knows moves like thunderbolt,thunder etc

What's up with fire? They do horrible! Try electric, grass, and dragon (from what I know, dragon is good against all types except ice...). I think the only dragon's you can have right now are Rayquaza, Flygon, and Altaria. That's all I can think of. Don't use Flygon because it's also a ground type, which is bad. Use Altaria (evolves from Swablu) or Rayquaza, if you catch him at all. Rate this answer.
