Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hi Pokefans!

I feel stupid asking a question which will probably be answered so simply but here goes...

I am stuck! When I enter the Rusturf Tunnel, the Lavaridge Gym and any underwater caverns, I can't see a thing thanks something that looks like grey cloud cover. I have managed to progress as far as collecting 7 badges despite this, but this problem has now completely stopped me.

What is going on?!? I have read through walkthroughs, looked for hints, and many other Q&A's. Does any one else have this problem? Can someone give me an answer??

I think you are talking about the HM flash which you need to light up caves.

If it is not that, i'm afraid I can't help.

That's how it should be. First of all, the smoke in the Larvaridge gym is there because of the heat. The smoke from the caves are because of all the moisture in there. No, you cannot get rid of it because it is there for a purpose!!! It wasn't made to stall and is not hard to see in. If you have trouble with that, then there's something wrong with your eyesight. No offence, of course, but it's smoke- not darkness.

It's just fog, it's part of the game to make it look good. Hope I Helped!
