Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hi.
I don't know much about Pokmon Emerald but I've heard that you can travel into the Kanto and Johto regions in this game, unlike in Ruby and Sapphiire. Could you tell me if this is true or just a rumour?
Thanks

Dude, this is TOTALLY A RUMOR!!!!!!!!!! Rate this answer.

P.s. Tell this person to not post this rumor on this site, because someone did that with the stupid idea of going to the moon and started a lot of confusion.

Excel answered:

You can't go to Kanto and Johto.

ak-47s rock answered:

It's a lie. You can only travel to another region in G/S/C.

GottaCatchThemAll answered:

Rumour.

Pokedude321 answered:

No, thats a stupid rumor that someone made up. But that would be cool

jamesiles06 answered:

I wish you could that will be amazing. You can catch Kanto and Johto Pokemon in RSE but you can't go to it.

I hope this has answered your question,

Riku994 answered:

RUMOR!!!!!!!!!!.

Cross Stinger answered:

You can't.

Sephiroth Zero 1 answered:

I'm sorry to say this but it is not true. You only reside in the Hoenn Region in Emerald. Pokemon Emerald is basically a remake of Ruby and Sapphire. All this version of the game has is added on battles, the Battle Fronteir, animation to Pokemon, the ability to capture Johto Pokemon, new little side events, and some reorganized maps.

jwigel1 answered:

No - sorry. However, there are some new places (an expanded safari zone and the battle frontier), so it's still worth getting.

MeteoraKendo answered:

Sorry dude, it's just a rumor. =\

nattdoggg answered:

That isnt true,sorry
Hope I helped, please rate this answer.

BBG_CREECAT answered:

RUMOR! NO trips to Kanto or Jhoto, BUT there's a bunch of Jhoto pokes available in a special section(after E4) of the Safari Zone that you couldn't get before, and if you fill your Hoenn pokedex you will get a choice of one Jhoto starter! You can wirelessly link w/Kanto if you have FR/LG and play games/trade/battle from Emerald.

The biggest difference from R/S to Emerald would be the battle tents & Battle Frontier, besides the little cool things like animations and better equipment and stuff. Plus there's more trainers, double battles; and the gym leaders and E4 are harder then in R/S.

Your answer:

It is just a rumour - sorry to dissappoint you.

Extra information:

I'm pretty sure Nintendo will never include any previous regions in future games (like Gold/Silver/Crystal including Kanto). It takes up too much space on the game disk that could be used instead for enhancing a totally new region.

THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED: But, I'm pretty sure Nintendo won't include Kanto, Johto, or Hoenn in the next generation of Pokemon games.

Sorry to all those who had there hopes up.

{I could be wrong - but I'm sure Nintendo isn't planning to include old regions in future games.... Sorry.}
