Question for Pokemon Emerald

I used the code to warp to Southern Island but when I go to that egg in the middle it says something but Latias wont come out to battle me, how do I batle her?
Is there any code to battle her?

I dont' know exactly - unless you haven't defeated the Elite Four yet. After you defeat the elite four, a TV program comes on in which you chose either Latios or Latias as the one who's flying around Hoenn. Then, the OTHER one will be at Southern Island. Hope I helped ya!

All I know is that you have to put in the code to enable Southern Island. I don't think it works if you just warp there.

Once you enable Southern Island, I think you can battle Lati@s. It worked for me - all I did was put in the code for an eon ticket and to enable southern island.

The cap'n talked to me and brought me to Southern Island, and I went to the "egg" and I battled Latios. Good Luck! Rate this answer.

P.S. I used an AR, just so you know. I think to warp to places, you have to have a GS, so I'm asuming that you have a GS. Sorry, but I forgot the codes, and I deleted them- I just checked.

I was hoping that once you caught one, the other would then appear, but that's not happening I guess.

In Ruby you needed a code to get Eon ticket and also an enabler code to talk to lady at Lilycove harbor-then she sees you have a different ticket and this guy comes out and says some cool stuff and brings you there and then after you try to read the rock Latias comes flying at you!

I think I saw something way way way back in the Emerald AR section about Latios/Latias enabler with one of the codes for the Eon ticket(I think), and that may work instead or it may work with the warp code. Or maybe there's newer stuff. Try there if no luck with a better answer.
