ShadowGX answered:

Trade from FR/LG, Colluseum or cheat.

Apphonx answered:

To get the Johto starters you must have caught all 200 Pokemon in the Hoegn pokedex not including deoxys and jirachi.(but your only allowed to pick one)

And kanto you must trade the starters to Emerald form LF/FR.

ak-47s rock answered:

You talk to Birch when your pokedex is complete and he'll give you one (not including jirachi and deoxys). Well you can catch some Pokemon from janto and johto in the game.

When you beat the elite four a johto Pokemon section opens. If you want to complete your national pokedex you have to trade from the other games (sapphire, ruby, Fire Red and Leaf Green).

ShadowDemon1892 answered:

You get the jhoto starters when you catch all the hoen Pokemon not including deoxys and jirachi.

Grougre answered:

To get the Jhoto Starters you have to get all 202 Pokemon(Treecko-Deoxys) and go to Prof. Birch and he will ask you which one you want. Here is a Diagram of them, their types and their evolutions:

Tododile: Type: Water evolves into Croconaw then last is Feraligator.
The next Pokemon you can choose is:

Chicorita: Type:Grass evolves into Bayleef evolves into Meganium.
The last one but certainly my favorite is:

Cyndaquil:Type:Fire evolves into Quilava evolves into Typlosion.
This is all I can tell you about that question. Next question.... Oh yeah:

The other Jhoto Pokemon:

Some can be found where those two guys were blocking the way to the safari zone well get this you go to that area that they were blocking and find some Pokemon land and water.

You can trade some Pokemon from FireRed or LeafGreen. And same with the Kanto Pokemon.

To Trade use Wireless Adapters:must use! And must do when BOTH games have got the National Pokedex.

Well I hope this cheat helps you alot you great aspiring People !!!!

Riku994 answered:

Ok... To get a Johto starter (Cyndaquil Chickorita or Totodile) You must catch all 200 Pokemon in the hoenn pokedex. To get other Johto's go to the new area in the Safari Zone.

Cross Stinger answered:

You get a Johto starter when the Hoenn Pokdex is filled.

Pokmon not in the Hoenn Pokdex that reside in Hoenn are: Hoothoot, Ledyba, Spinarak, Mareep, Aipom, Sunkern, Wooper, Quagsire, Pineco, Gligar, Snubbull, Shuckle, Remoraid, Octillery, Houndour, Stantler, and Miltank in the Safari Zone; Ditto in the Desert Underpass; Smeargle in the Artisan Cave in the Battle Frontier; and Sudowoodo at the Battle Frontier.

Pokedude321 answered:

Johto PKMN: Catch 200 pokemon(except jirachi, deoxys)then show birch and you will get them.Kanto PKMN: get all gold symbols in battle frontier

Hazza Spazza answered:

You can either trade from FireRed or LeafGreen, trade from Colosseum, or when you get 200 Pokemon on Emerald, Prof, Birch will give you one.
