Ok 1st of all it's not a stupid question and the team magma's hideout is on the Jagged Pass

On Jagged Pass, but you need to have acquired the Magma Emblem from the Mount Pyre elders after the Aquas come to steal the Orbs.

Team Magma's hideout is in Jagged Pass. But, in order to get here, you must first obtain the Magma Emblem from the old woman on top of Mt. Pyre. If you remember correctly, the Magma Hideout is in front of where a Magma grunt used to be. Well, you won't need to worry because once you enter Jagged Pass with the Magma Emblem, the cave is in the open. Rate this answer.
