Question for Pokemon Emerald

Before I start this game I want to know what your personal opinion is on who to start with and please don't say they all have there own qualities I want to know who you would start with

I should say mudkip because after it's a swampert it can beat most Pokemon and it's only weakness is grass so you may want to teach it ice beam or blizzard,to defend it self from grass types.

I would start with ether Mudkip or Treecko. But don't have other people to make that disition for you.

I don't have a personal preference, but I do strongly recommend against Torchic. Torchic is for beginners - all ATK, no DEF at all. Won't last two seconds against a decent type matcher.

If you mean the starters I would pick Mudkip because it has the best stats and some pretty good moves.

The Pokemon you should start with is treeko,cause he can take on the first gym leader and he can take on the maville gym leader. Hoped I helped

I like to start with Mudkip, because he looks the best.

BUT - I'd recommend that you choose Torchic, because grass- and water-type Pokemon are among the first that you find. You don't find fire-types until much later on in the game. If you are playing ANY verison of Pokemon (not just Emerald), I'd recommend you to choose the fire-type - because you will have an all-round team very quickly [you will be strong in both attack and defense very early in the game, if you know your type advantages well].
