Question for Pokemon Emerald

I have the special tickets and the person in front of the ss tida; doesnt do anything when I talk to her all I can go is to slateport/lillycove and the battle frontier. I'm stumped so does anyone know what I can do.

Either you're not at the Lilycove terminal or you obtained the tickets with a cheat peripheral. Tickets obtained through cheating are never valid.

It might be because you got the tickets by putting an action replay code. Cause it happened to me. To go to the islands you have to go to the real nintendo event.

I couldn't get the ticket codes to work either. I did have success with the WARP codes, except for Southern Island(for Latios/Latias), they all worked fine as long as you TURN OFF the AR when you get there(otherwise when you try to get to the Pokemon you're trying to catch, it'll keep warping you to the same spot)and it'll be only as difficult as catching it! And Birth Island(Deoxys)has a puzzle, the instructions for it are a few days questions before this one, I think, but I remember posting them myself about a week ago in this column-so check a week backwards. That's the way to go, though, warp codes-find them in the AR section.
