Question for Pokemon Emerald

I know that there is alot of questions about Pokerus. I know how to get it and what it does. How do you know that it has it? Is it if you look at there ability or is it when you kill a level 3 Zigzagoon with your level 97 Swampert and you get 3000 EXP? PLEASE help me.

Getting the pokerus is very very rare. And to see if you have it go to the summary of your Pokemon then look at the bottom left where the status of your Pokemon is. No, the pokerus doesn't give you extra exp. Points, but what it does is double the EV points you get after you face a Pokemon, just like what macho brace does. If you don't know what EV's are, they are an important part of training a pokemon. It can give you a very good boost in a certain stat. I would explain it to you but it would take a very long time.

It will tell you if your pok�mon has the pokerus on Status. Check the pokemon's status and it will say PKRS. Enjoy.
