Hi!

Well I had a fairly easy time with Groudon. I suggest that you weaken it down to as low as hp as possible, (water moves are good for this), then make it paralized or asleep.

Then just keep chucking Ultra Balls at it. After there's been lots of turns I would suggest to start using Timer Balls since they are really good for long drawn out battles that you have with legendaries. I have caught almost all of my legendaries with timer balls.

You could put Groudon to sleep, then use a Pokemon that know False Swipe to bring it's HP all the way down to 1; when it wakes up put it back to sleep or paralysis it. Sleep or Paralysis conditions+ only HP 1 will make it really easy to capture.

Don't listen to people who tell you to use a master ball on groudon, kyogre or rayquaza.I caught them with an ultra ball. You need the master ball for Latios or Latias.I would suggest having something at lv.100 and use strength twice.Then keep chucking ultra balls and timer balls at it.
