Date of Question: Jul 1 2009 | Question ID: 143670 Ok so I was walking on the route ner Slateport and I found this cave called alterning cave. Can anyone tell me what it is for? I walked inside and didnt see anything inside of it. |

If you use Mystery Gift it will make certain Pokemon appear in alterning cave, such as Pokemon you would find in Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green. It's limited to only Pokemon that you would find on the johto part of your pokedex in Leaf Green and Rire Red though.

Not mystery gift, an e-reader card must be used to present unique pokemoon from the johto region, but those Pokemon can just be found in the extended part of the safari zone after you get the national dex
