That is correct. You must bring some good Pokemon with good stats. Be careful though. He uses all legendaries. A trio to be exact. If you beat him, you get the silver Bravery Symbol. In order to get the gold one, you must complete the Battle Pyramid a total of 10 times. He uses a trio of legends again then. Hope this helps you out.
