Just like in Gold,Silver,Crystal,Diamond,and Pearl,time goes by like in our world. Basically saying,Yes it does but it doesn't turn dark in those games for the GBA. Hope this helps.
Yes it has a built in clock because when you migrate Pokemon and you change the time on the NintendoDS and try to mirgrate Pokemon agan it sas you changed the time the game boy advance game will reset the time and yada yada yada the end yes!!
Wow, then mine has a serious glitch. I knew the time was supposed to move with reality, but there must be something wrong with my GBA, because every time I turn on any Pokemon game, it says that the game can be played, however clock based events will no longer occur (that's almost word for word, btw).
