Best starter?

It depends on what you mean by best. The most powerfull and easiest to beat the game with and my personal favorite is definetly Torchic.

I think all of them are good but I always when with Mudkip or Torchic.

My Favourate is Torchic

It really depends on if you have played Pokemon before or if you just started. Treeko is for Amateurs, Mudkip is for Novices, and Torchic is for Experienced players. Personally, I don't really care which is for which, I picked torchic because I liked it.

Depends on what you have trouble with. Mudkip will suck for Rival battles (4x effectiveness once evolved)but is worth raising for everything else, Torchic is good for raw power but has a disadvantage at gyms and the fact that you're rival will have water AND ground moves, and Treeko will have some trouble at the gyms but is good for everything else. So, I agree with Fruit Baskets, Treeko for beginers, if you restart your game for some reason if you want a challenging replay go with Torchic, and Mudkip can be put somewhere in between. Now, of course, this question is rather pointless-ish, 'cause this game is about havimng fun, not breezing through it without taking a ook at what's in front of you. Hope I didn't bore you!

mudkip is the best starter pokemon because he lerns mud slap at level 6 and it levils up faster

I think torchic or treeco are the best treeco because he has an easy time with the elite four torchic for the champ plus I always get him

Torchic or mudkip are well the best as Torchic has high attack power and you can beat the champion easily although he does have trouble against your rival and the good things about Mudkip is he can beat most gyms such as electric, fire, psychic and plenty others. I chose Mudkip since on Pokemon White I have Torchic Shiny since I did the soft reset method ^_^ *_* ^_^ *_*

Probably torchic because it is harder to catch fire types then the two others

Mudkip because you can tech him all the water hm's and not treeko because you get other grass types early on and not torchic because you will never use it in rival battles.

Go with Treeko It makes your first gym battle easier cause his 1st grass move is absorb and he can help catch a Meril or some other water type.
