Yes I've cloned all my legendary Pokemon and it worked for me so yess :D

No it did not work for me it erased my Mew & my Deoxes

Yes you can and I've had problems with pkmn being deleted, so I was forced to start the entire game over!!! But I'm almost back to where I was

Yes the same way you would clone any other Pokemon but cloning to much will corrupt your game.
