Wait, stop, just hold on for a minute. Where did you hear that at? There is no such thing as the Sapphire Stone, and the Ruby Stone does not exist either. Both of these items are fake, so, I can say with certainty that you do not need to have Pokemon Ruby, or Pokemon Sapphire in order to unlock Mystery Gift, or to get it to work. Here is how you can unlock the Mystery Gift option on Pokemon Emerald. First, you just have to walk into any Pokemon Market located anywhere in the game. It does not matter which one it is. When you go inside the market you should see a piece of paper on the counter that the store clerk is behind. Go up to that sheet of paper and press the A button on it. You will have to write something down, I want you to write down LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL. After you do that, say Okay, and the clerk should mention something tro you about you knowing a secret code. Now, save the game and turn it off, then turn it back on. When you arrive at the main menu, you should see an option for Mystery Gift located directly under the Options menu. In order for Mystery Gift to actually work, you need to have an adaptor, there should be one that came with Pokemon emerald when you bought it. Hope this helps.
