Well to get a e-reader go to ebay thats all I can do to help.

Oh, yes, I vaguely recall the E-reader and how it was used. Now, if I remember correctly, it was a device that that was added on to your Gameboy Advance, and would read any Pokemon trading cards that were able to be read by the E-reader. Whatever card was read, was added to your Pokedex, I think. Other cards contained special items, I am not sure, but that is all that I can remember. You could look it up on Google.com by searching what is an E-reader or something like that. Hope this helps.

It's a pretty now-hard-to-get device where you can scan certain Pokemon cards. Cool, eh? Also, in Ruby and Saphire, you can scan that card with a trainer in it and battle him/her.

I'm not sure on this one, but you might need one to participate in those Nintendo Events where they give away legendary pokemon
