You must get the Old Sea Chart by going to a nintendo event or cheat.

You used to be able to get access to be able to catch them at Pokemon events in the real world but they are all finished up with now, so you will have to cheat to get one.
(it could be caught on faraway island)

Well, it could only be obtained in a Nintendo Event. In the Nintendo Event, you get an Old Sea Chart and go to Faraway Island. But there are more Nintendo Events than this. Or you get it by cheating. You could use a GameShark or an Action Replay ( These are called cheating devices ). But there are down effects in using cheating devices. Your Handheld or Console might get broken or messed up.

You have to have an Action Replay, or have went to in event, where they give you the ticket that you need in order to get to Mew. OR have it traded to you, that's the only way.
