Question for Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

I know that you need yarn 4 making socks. What size? To whom will I give it? Second what are cursed and blessed tools? How 2 get them? What are their uses? Please tell me Im very puzzeled

To answer your first question:
Any yarn will do, be good friends with Ellen, and if you give her yarn she makes you a sock, so that cheapskate Thomas can give you something cheap he got from ebay for christmas =)

Question 2:

Cursed tools are rather powerful tools found in the lake/ winter (they are both the same thing) mine. The hammer can destroy that big rock that blocks the path that you see on your way to the lake, and the fishing rod can fish up pirate treasure or fossils in summer and fall. They are found on the following floors, but only when all your tools are mystrile level

Fishing rod: 29
Hoe: 39
Axe: 49
Hammer: 59
Watering can: 69
Sickle: 79

ONCE YOU EQUIP A CURSED TOOL, YOU CAN ONLY PUT IT DOWN IF CARTER BLESSES IT (not fully blesses it, as you'll see...)
To bless them, they have different ways, which you must do to bless them.

Hoe: have carter bless it 10 times for 1000g per time
Sickle: equip 10 days straight
Axe: use tool 255 times
Hammer: equip for 10 days straight
Watering can: have carter bless it 10 times for 1000g per time
Fishing rod: use tool 255 times

They are much more powerful than your regular mystrile tools (pah! Mystrile...)

After they are blessed, on floor 60 of the spring/ore/goddess mine, you will find a mythic stone, that looks like a black branch. Upgrade your tools to mythic with saibara for 50,000(!!!) per tool. They are all very handy, but the fishing pole and hammer are best in my opinion
